Local Dissemination Events: Sharing Results Across Partner Cities

As the project outputs were finalised, each partner organisation held a one-day local dissemination event in its own city. These events served to introduce the EcoCraft Skills training materials to relevant stakeholders and to promote the use of sustainable approaches within the design and craft sectors.

Each event brought together professionals, educators, creative organisations and representatives from local networks. Participants were introduced to the EcoCraft program structure, the trainer’s guide, the toolkit and the digital learning components developed during the project. Demonstrations and short presentations highlighted the key concepts of the training, the practical methods used during the pilot implementation and the open-access nature of the materials.

The events also provided an opportunity for discussion on the relevance of sustainable design practices in local contexts. Stakeholders exchanged perspectives on current challenges, sectoral needs and potential areas where the EcoCraft materials could support ongoing work or future initiatives.

In addition to presenting the outputs, partners shared insights from the co-creation process, the pilot training and the online follow-up module. This helped attendees understand how the materials were developed and tested, and how they could be adapted for different training environments or organisational needs.

The dissemination events contributed to the visibility, accessibility and potential long-term use of the project resources. By engaging local networks, the partner organisations supported the wider adoption of the training materials and encouraged continued dialogue on sustainability within the creative industries.
