Designing and implemeningt a VET programme focused on sustainable practices for professionals in both traditional and digital design fields.
Building an online platform offering open-access educational resources, guides, and best practices that support sustainability in creative work.
Publishing hands-on materials, sample practices and VET Video Series training materials that professionals can directly apply to adopt greener, more conscious approaches to their craft.
EcoCraft supports individuals working in traditional and digital design fields—such as graphic design, web development, animation, woodworking, ceramics, textiles, and more. These professionals are often freelancers or small teams with a strong creative vision and growing interest in sustainability.
They bring diverse skills, creative aptitude, and industry experience. Many are actively seeking new knowledge and resources to integrate environmental responsibility into their work.
We also support cultural organisations, creative agencies, environmental NGOs, and green businesses working in areas like cultural heritage, advocacy, renewable energy, and conservation.
These mission-driven entities are committed to sustainable development, interdisciplinary collaboration, innovation, and outreach. They play a vital role in shaping policy, practice, and public awareness.
EcoCraft addresses the gap between environmental awareness and practical action in the creative sector. Though many professionals are eager to work sustainably, they often lack structured, applicable resources.
EcoCraft is implemented by a consortium of four organisations from Germany, Türkiye, Belgium, and Spain. Together, these partners bring expertise in education, sustainability, creativity, and communication to ensure that all outputs are practical, relevant, and impactful.
