The EcoCraft Skills Training Program is now available, offering a structured and practical introduction to sustainable approaches within the design and craft sectors. Developed collaboratively by the project partners and refined through co-creation sessions and pilot implementation, the program provides a clear pathway for learners who want to understand and apply sustainability principles in their creative work.
The program is built around eight modules that explore key themes such as sustainable materials, circular production thinking, waste reduction methods, life-cycle understanding and responsible communication. Each module provides essential knowledge supported by practical exercises, examples and reflection tasks. This combination helps learners connect what they learn to their own projects, workflows and professional environments.
The training has been designed for flexibility. It can be delivered in workshop settings, included in vocational training programs or completed independently through the self-applied learning option. This adaptability makes the program suitable for designers, craftspeople, educators, students and emerging practitioners who are looking for an accessible and applied approach to sustainability.
Through its balance of theory and practice, the EcoCraft Skills Training Program supports learners in building a more conscious and environmentally responsible creative practice. It also forms a central part of the wider EcoCraft collection of tools and resources, which expand and reinforce the learning experience.
