Following the pilot implementation in İzmir, a one-week online follow-up training was conducted to reinforce the learning process and support participants in integrating sustainability approaches into their own practices.
This online component was designed as a continuation of the face-to-face training, offering participants additional space to reflect, consolidate knowledge and evaluate their own work through a structured digital format.
The program combined self-paced modules, short assignments and facilitated discussions. Participants revisited the key themes of the EcoCraft Skills curriculum such as circular design, material sustainability and environmentally responsible production, while applying these concepts to real examples from their professional contexts. The online environment also allowed for deeper examination of decisions made in their design or craft processes, enabling them to refine their sustainability strategies with guided input.
During the week, participants completed reflective tasks and shared progress through digital tools. Trainers monitored participation and provided feedback, helping clarify methodological points and addressing questions that emerged after the in-person training. This interaction strengthened the learning experience and ensured that participants maintained engagement beyond the physical workshop.
The online follow-up module played an important role in extending the impact of the project. By allowing participants to revisit, question and refine their understanding at their own pace, the training supported long-term retention and practical application of the content. The results of this phase, particularly participant feedback and completion data, also informed the final adjustments to the program and contributed to the project’s overall quality.
